Maria Tomola

As an active member of the Stuttgart Players for three years, Maria Tomola has gained experience in several areas of theatrical production, both as a performer and on the Creative Team.

Maria began as the Stage Manager for “THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE” in December 2023, then performed the following summer as Ursula in “THE LITTLE MERMAID JR.” She was selected as Assistant Director for that season, excelling in blocking scenes and helping Mrs. Elaine direct 25 students during rehearsals.

In “THE PRINCE OF EGYPT STAGED CONCERT” Maria was featured as the soloist “Princess Tuya” and sang in the ensemble. She recently played “Race” in “NEWSIES JR.” and is currently part of the crew and ensemble for “LES MISERABLES SCHOOL EDITION.”

Maria is intelligent, creative, and kind. She is also a valuable team player who contributes original ideas to group work, helps build props, and participates in creating dance choreography. She has been an asset to the Stuttgart Players and will be missed.
